1. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using Helix One PC Convert, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer that apply to the service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not upload files, create an account, purchase a subscription or use the tools. These Terms apply to visitors, registered users and paying customers.
Helix One PC Convert provides browser-based tools for common file tasks such as PDF conversion, image conversion, document conversion, compression, splitting, merging, optical character recognition, ZIP creation, resume building and writing assistance. The exact set of tools may change as the service is improved.
2. Accounts and Sign-In
Some features require an account. You may sign in with a supported Google account or with another account method provided by the service. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity performed through your account. Do not share account credentials with another person or use another person's account without permission.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your contact email current. We may suspend access when there is evidence of fraud, automated abuse, unauthorized account sharing, repeated attempts to bypass usage limits, attacks against the website or other conduct that threatens the service or its customers.
3. Free Use and Paid Plans
The service may offer a limited number of free processed files to allow a customer to test the tools. The free allowance is associated with the signed-in account and may also be protected with reasonable technical measures designed to reduce abuse. Free usage is not a recurring entitlement unless the website clearly states otherwise.
After the free allowance has been used, continued access to supported processing may require a paid plan. The current website may display a monthly price such as $4.99. Prices, included features, limits and billing intervals can change for future purchases. Any change that affects an existing paid customer will be handled according to the purchase terms shown at checkout and applicable law.
4. File Processing
You may upload only files that you own or are legally permitted to process. You remain responsible for the content of every file you upload. Do not use the service to process unlawful content, stolen material, malicious files, confidential information you are not authorized to handle, or material that violates the rights of another person or business.
Temporary files may be created on the server to perform the requested conversion. The website is designed to remove temporary working files after a limited period, but you should not treat the service as permanent storage. Keep your own original copies and download important output promptly.
5. Conversion Results
File conversion is not guaranteed to preserve every visual, editable or technical feature. Fonts, formulas, macros, page breaks, embedded media, transparency, color profiles, metadata, hyperlinks and other format-specific features may change when a file is converted. You should review the output before relying on it for business, legal, printing, publishing or customer delivery.
We do not guarantee that every file will convert successfully. Conversion can fail because of file corruption, unsupported formats, encryption, server limits, third-party software limitations or other technical reasons.
6. Resume and Writing Tools
Resume, cover-letter and writing tools are provided to help customers prepare drafts and organize information. You are responsible for reviewing and editing the final text before using it. The service does not guarantee employment, interviews, admissions, sales, legal compliance, business results or any other outcome from documents created with these tools.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not attempt to interfere with the website, bypass account or usage restrictions, overload the server, introduce malware, scrape the service at an unreasonable rate, reverse engineer protected functionality, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, impersonate another person, or use the service for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
Automated bulk processing, resale of service access, or use that materially affects normal customer availability may require written permission or a separate commercial arrangement.
8. Intellectual Property
The Helix One PC name, website design, original text, software code, branding and other service materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Using the service does not transfer ownership of these materials to you. Your ownership rights in files you upload remain yours or with the applicable rights holder.
9. Third-Party Services
The website may rely on hosting providers, Google Sign-In, payment processors, conversion libraries or other third-party infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for a third-party service being unavailable, changing its API or policies, or discontinuing a feature.
10. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the service available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, hosting incidents, security events, software updates, network problems or unexpected demand can temporarily interrupt access. We may add, remove, replace or modify tools when necessary to maintain or improve the service.
11. Payment and Billing
Paid subscriptions are processed through the payment method and provider shown at checkout. You are responsible for providing valid billing information. Unless the checkout page states otherwise, a monthly subscription may renew until cancelled. Taxes may be added where required. Payment-card information should be handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by Helix One PC Convert.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate an account when these Terms are violated, when payment is reversed or fraudulent, when required by law, or when continued access presents a security or operational risk. Termination does not remove obligations that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions and limitations of liability.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that every file will convert, every output will be error-free, or every third-party service will remain available. You are responsible for keeping backups and checking converted files.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Helix One PC and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption or reliance on a converted file. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
