1. Information You Provide
When you create an account or contact support, we may receive information such as your name, email address, message content and account sign-in details. When Google Sign-In is used, the service may receive the basic identity information Google makes available for authentication, such as your verified email address, name, account identifier and profile image.
We use account information to authenticate customers, operate the free-usage allowance, provide account access, support subscriptions and respond to support requests.
2. Uploaded and Converted Files
Files you upload are processed only for the operation you request. The server may create temporary source and output files while a conversion is running. The website package is designed to clean temporary working files after a limited period. Helix One PC Convert is not intended to be a permanent file-storage service.
You should avoid uploading files containing information you are not authorized to process. For highly sensitive business, legal, medical, financial or regulated data, follow the rules that apply to your organization before using any online conversion service.
3. Account and Usage Information
To operate the free-file allowance and reduce abuse, the service may keep records associated with an account, including the account email or an internal account identifier, usage count, sign-in provider, subscription status and basic timestamps. These records help prevent repeated creation of free allowances and help us support legitimate customers.
4. Technical Information
Web servers normally receive technical information when a browser connects, including IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time, requested page and similar request data. This information may be present in hosting or security logs and can be used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Cookies or similar browser storage may be used for authenticated sessions, security, preferences and account continuity. Essential authentication cookies are required for signed-in features to work correctly.
5. Google Sign-In
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google handles the Google account authentication process. Helix One PC Convert receives the identity token or account information needed to create or authenticate your service account. We do not need your Google password and should never ask you to provide it directly to Helix One PC Convert.
Google may process information according to Google's own privacy policies. You can manage your Google account permissions through Google account settings.
6. Payments
When paid subscriptions are enabled, payment information should be processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Helix One PC Convert should not directly store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes. We may retain limited billing records such as purchase email, transaction reference, plan, amount, status and dates for support, accounting and fraud prevention.
7. Contact and Support Messages
When you use the contact form or email support, we may keep the message, your email address and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, document billing or refund decisions, prevent abuse and maintain business records.
8. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to provide file processing, authenticate users, administer free and paid access, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve usability, communicate about support requests, comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the service.
We do not sell personal information as a business model. Information may be shared with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate hosting, authentication, payment processing, security, analytics, email or customer support.
9. Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect the service, including HTTPS, restricted server folders, account sessions and limited temporary-file retention. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Customers should keep original backups and avoid uploading information that should not be processed online.
10. Retention
Temporary upload and output files are intended to be removed automatically after a short period. Account and usage records may be kept while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, subscription management, dispute handling or legal obligations. Support and transaction records may be retained longer where legitimate business or legal reasons apply.
11. Your Choices
You may stop using the service, sign out, or contact us regarding account information. Where applicable law provides rights of access, correction, deletion or objection, you may contact support to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
12. Children
The service is intended for general business and consumer file tasks and is not knowingly directed to children in a manner that requires collection of children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact support.
13. International Processing
Hosting and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. By using the service, information may be transferred as necessary to provide the requested functionality, subject to applicable legal requirements.
14. Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated when features, providers, laws or business practices change. The updated date will be shown on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
15. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent to support@heliconepc.com or submitted through the Contact page.
